We are an advertising technology company that provides online advertising services. Our Website is intended to: 

  • present our company, services we provide and technology we use,
  • give you an opportunity to contact us directly or otherwise interact with us,
  • share the news concerning our activity and useful insights from the advertising market.

  1. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT

We may collect two main groups of data in connection with your use of the Website:

  • Information you provide us voluntarily when contacting us directly e.g. by means of dedicated forms.

The scope of such information will depend on the type of interaction. For instance, by using the contact button on our Website, apart from the content of your message, we you will also provide us with your e-mail address as a natural consequence of choosing this way of contact.

  • Information collected automatically by our Website e.g. by means of cookies or other tracking technologies.

Such information is recorded under a unique identification number (e.g. cookie ID) assigned to your browser or device and include: (1) data related to your activity on a Website along with timestamps recording moment of particular events, (2) technical information about the browser or device you are using; (3) IP address indicating your non-specific geographic location e.g. country or region.

This data does not directly disclose your identity – it only identifies the browser or device you use to enter our Website and allows us to measure the use of our Website and personalize its content and our ads to that browser or device, as described below.

Below you will find the description of purposes we may use your data for as well as privacy related controls you may exercise.

3.1 Information you provide us voluntarily:

3.1.1 Purpose: Answering your queries

Description: You may send us a message via our contact functionality. We will process your email and the content of such a message to handle your query and provide you with relevant information.

3.1.2 Purpose: Allow you to access knowledge resources

Description: You may request access to chosen knowledge resources by leaving us your contact data via electronic form. We will process the personal data you provide us in the form for that purpose.

3.1.3 Purpose: Individual contact

Description: You may request to be contacted individually by our representatives – in the content of your message or via a dedicated checkbox in a form – e.g. to discuss the potential cooperation with RTB House. We will process the data you disclose in such correspondence to provide you with relevant materials and contact you as requested.

3.1.4 Purpose: Newsletter

Description: You may request to receive RTB House’s newsletter via a dedicated checkbox in a form. We will process the personal data you provide us in the form to provide you the newsletter to the indicated email address.

Controls: You may unsubscribe from the newsletter using a dedicated “Unsubscribe” functionality in the bottom of a newsletter email.

3.2 Information collected automatically

3.2.1. Purpose: Website maintenance

Description: Necessary cookies allow us to ensure security of our Website and make certain elements accessible and operational, as well as capture the privacy preferences you indicate in a consent mechanism upon entering the Website.

Controls: Necessary cookies may be set without your specific consent. You may delete them and disable subsequent setting in your browser settings, however, this may prevent certain websites from displaying properly.

3.2.2 Purpose: Website analytics

Description: If you agree to setting statistics cookies, we will collect data about your interactions with the content we publish to monitor the Website’s functionalities and improve them.

To conduct these analyses, we use a third party tool, Google Analytics which stores data in a cookie related to the device or browser, IP address and on-site activities to measure and report statistics about your interactions with our Website. 3.2.3 Purpose: Marketing activities

Description: If you agree to marketing cookies, we will collect data about your interactions with the content we publish in order to conduct display personalized ads of RTB House on third party websites or apps.

We may conduct advertising campaigns by means of our own RTB House digital advertising technology or the following third party tools:

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter

Data collected this way allows us to define our audience for ad personalization and measure the effectiveness of the ads displayed by conversion tracking.

We also embedded the ‘Tweet Button’ as a result of which Twitter Inc. or Twitter International Company receive Log Data that includes the information that you visited our web page.

  1. WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING 

In order to lawfully process your personal data we need to have legal basis for such processing.

The legal basis will depend on the particular operation of processing. It may be: (i) performing a contract with you, (ii) our legitimate interests (such as developing functionalities of the Website), (iii) your explicit consent for data processing, or (iv) a need to comply with a legal obligation we may be subject to.

  1. WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR DATA

In order to pursue the purposes indicated above your data may be shared with the following categories of third party recipients:

  • RTB House affiliated companies – we share data collected on the Website with RTB House Services sp. z o.o. seated in Warsaw, a company from within our corporate group, which is responsible for securely running the Website for us.
  • third party contractors – for the analytical and marketing purposes, we use tools provided by third parties, namely Google, Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as Twitter due to use of ‘Tweet Button’. Please see section 3 to learn about the purposes of processing and find useful links. The data we process is stored in third party data centers.

Your personal data may also be disclosed to authorities which are competent by the applicable laws to receive such data, including law enforcement authorities.

We carefully select third parties to whom your data may be disclosed, in particular we make sure they grant an appropriate level of privacy security to your data and process your data only for the intended purposes as well as in compliance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable laws. 

We will not transfer or permit any of your personal data to be transferred to a territory outside of the European Economic Area unless we have taken measures necessary to ensure the transfer is in compliance with applicable laws. Such measures may include (without limitation) transferring the personal data to a recipient in a country that the European Commission has decided provides adequate protection for Personal Data as referred to in Article 45 GDPR or standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission as referred to in Article 46 GDPR, signed with the data recipient in a third country.

  1. FOR HOW LONG WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED

We implement the following retention periods with regard your data:

  • 3 years for queries submitted via the contact functionality on our Website,
  • 25 months for data collected automatically via cookies or other tracking technologies on our Website,
  • the period of validity of the legal basis for processing, e.g. until you object to processing.

After the expiry of the following retention periods, and in any case upon your request, we will either delete or anonymize your personal data.

  1. HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

To the extent provided by the applicable data protection laws, in particular the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • rectify your personal data,
  • request erasure of your personal data,
  • object to data processing,
  • restrict processing of your personal data,
  • receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request transmission of the data to another controller,
  • lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority,
  • withdraw consent for data processing you gave at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 16. Our Website is not directed to children under the age of 16. In case we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

9. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WEBSITE ACCESS

In order to access our website you need at least:

  • Internet access (dedicated line of 128 kbit/s per user at least);
  • web browser: Internet Explorer ver. 5.5 and higher, Opera ver. 7.x and higher, Firefox ver. 1.x and higher, Google Chrome ver. 5.0 and higher, Safari 5 or higher.

Additionally for the purposes of contacting us via ‘Contact’ button, you need an active email address.

We keep this privacy policy under regular review to make sure it is up to date and accurate. We will notify you about its changes in advance.
